is it true? i've heard a japs speak english, and they're terrible to understand. that's because they said "Ice" as "Aisu", "Coffee" as "Kohii", an "Vacation" as "bake-shon". can you understand that? even an englishmen found it really difficult. they generally think those're their original japanese words, and not some english-derived words.

Yes, that's what I mean.
We have heard too much people speaking English with Indonesia accent.
That's why when we get used to it. It'll be hard to understand the native speaker.

I'm just putting more understandable cause I thought that you all play games. So you must be familiar with the japanese voice.

Btw, American people say that japanese people is really bad in voice acting.

Japanese speaker english is kinda like my friend here from Japan, her english is weird too but now her english is better. Like my english style is kinda change too.
Indonesian language, you all got to respect that language bro and sis

Ray

Yeah me too.. Even I prefer to study english to Indonesian, because it's hard to study Indonesian (sastra).
But Indonesian is good /no1

Hey2 don't be wrong bro. English Language is way harder than Indonesia bro. Try to learn English Literature. /omg it's so hard bro.

Ray

I am the Indonesian who can speak english (un-grammar english, doh!), but those who got english as their mother lang. can't speak indonesian ...

Wew that's make me cool :D

Well..
To be honest..

I'd love to be able to speak spanish or itallian better than my Indonesian or English ..
Don't ask me why .. I just fall in love with those fuckin ridiculous but beatifull languages :D

And yet, regarding to our topic .. I would like to say that me myself prefer to use english rather than Indonesian .. Why?! Because english is the language that i need to use in everysingle fuckin day in sydney, and yet even though sometimes i've got back to Indonesia, some people are trying to speak in english while they are talkin to me .. And moreover, most of my MSN or YM's friends are not Indonesian, so they'll be able to speak only english or some of their own languages .. In term of that, i really need to speak english whenever they contact me or vice versa..

Anyway CR4Y .. How long that have you been living in USA?

Thanks.

About 11 months. I'll be back tho. I just a year in here. Exchange student bro. But I got to tell you something bro, i bet you all sometimes hard to explain something in English right? Because English isn't your native language bro. All i like about Indonesia is culture including language. Don't you know that Indonesia have a lot of language. That's so wonderful bro.

Ray

Yes, I Agree with CR4Y.
Indonesia have a lot of language, for example "Saya mau makan" is the same meaning with "gw mau makan"
If you say it in english, Saya/gw just can only say by "I"

Not only that cungz.
For the example the word "I"
In indonesia : Saya
In javanese : Kulo
In sundanese : Ana
That's a lil bit different. Why i can say that? Because when last time we all exchange student gathered together in Jakarta to have orientation. /omg i was listening to my friends were speaking sundanese i couldn't understand at all. Just like they were listening to me when i speak javanese. They couldn't understand too

Ray

Yeah! But everyone here even if he/she is Javanese or Sundanese can understand Indonesian right? :D
Because it is community language... :))
(Bahasa persatuan. Bener gak ya nulisnya?) /heh

That's right. Everybody in Indonesia can understand Indonesian because Indonesian is a national language.
That's why i'm proud in Indonesia because of the cultures

Ray

United we stand. /hmm I'm just wondering that statement is not working in Indonesia /hmm

Ray

Hmm?? I think Indo have a great of community of culture.......
I have also heard that Indonesia concerning resistance with the other colonist.......

USA?! = United Stagnation?! LOOOL
Just kidding :D

Thanks.
