Naruto manages to defeat god realm Pain with his Rasengan.
He takes a chakra rod from god realm and stabs himself with it again, locating Nagato’s whereabouts once more.
Naruto has a flashback about his earlier conversation with god realm Pain.
God realm Pain: How would you face this hatred in order to build peace?
The scene switches to the remaining villagers.
Hinata is gradually recovering under Sakura’s treatment. Sakura and Team Gai also hear from Katsuyu that Naruto has defeated Pain.
Neji: If he’s beaten Pain…then he’s going after the real body! I have to stop him!
Katsuyu: Don’t go. It’s too dangerous!
Katsuyu tries to stop Neji, but to no avail. Eventually, Shikaku arrives and sees Naruto, cutting him off his path.
Naruto: I’m going to see the real body!
Shikaku remembers the conversation he had with Shikamaru, and decides to let Naruto handle everything by himself.
The scene switches to the mountain Nagato is at.
Nagato: Konan, you should go. I failed, and it should be my responsibility to face him.
Konan: Nagato…
After hesitating for a few seconds, Konan departs, leaving Nagato alone in the mountain.
The scene switches to Naruto, who is outside.
Naruto: The one at the back is the real body?!
Nagato: Peace will arrive soon.
