ane kan ada 2 sistem operasi, windows xp sp1 ama sp3

yg sp1 pgn gw delete, caranya gmn selain format ? :-/

Right click 'my computer' and select properties. Then select 'advanced' from the tab on the top followed by 'start up options'.
YOu can then remove the option for XP by simply unchecking the 'show list of operating systems for..' box (make sure 2000 is set as the default OS!).

All of the pundits here will say you can remove XP by inserting the OS Disk and formatting. However if you REALLY want to get rid of XP or any Windows OS, start the PC and repeatedly press the F8 key to start in Safe Mode. Then navigate with the arrows on the keyboard to Command Prompt (or MS DOS Prompt) and press Enter. You will end up with C:\<WINDOWS> type in cd so that you get C:\<WINDOWS>cd and press Enter. This gives you C:\ now type DEL WINDOWS with a space between del & windows so it looks like C:\DEL WINDOWS and press Enter. You will be asked if you really want to wipe the HDD clean (y/n) type y and press Enter. Then you will get something like Are you sure? (y/n) type y and press Enter. Then it should format drive C: Or if you already have a partition in place then you would clean that first. By typing 'del windows' it should save all your ancillary programs. Remember to re-install anything you need the drivers. E.g. Sound Card-Graphics Card-CD/R ROM drivers etc. Hope that helps.

Removing Windows XP files
The following files are hidden files. These hidden files are located in the root folder of the drive that is used to start the computer. Typically, this is drive C (the first drive letter that is available for hard disks).

To remove the Windows XP system files, follow these steps:

1. Start Windows Explorer.
2. Click View menu, and then click Folder Options.
3. Click the View tab, click Show all files, and then click OK.
4. In the root folder of drive C (or the boot drive), delete the following files:
* Boot.ini
* Ntbootdd.sys
* Ntdetect.com
* NTLDR
5. On the drive where Windows XP is installed, delete the following files if they exist:
* Hiberfil.sys
* Pagefile.sys

Note You must delete the Pagefile.sys file in Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
6. Delete the following folders if they exist:
* Windows
* Program Files
* Documents and Settings

Klik kanan 'komputer saya' dan sifat pilih. Kemudian pilih 'canggih' dari tab di atas diikuti oleh 'start up pilihan'.
ANDA kemudian dapat menghapus pilihan untuk XP dengan hanya centang 'daftar menunjukkan sistem operasi untuk ..' kotak (pastikan 2000 diatur sebagai default OS!).

Maka harus format drive C: Atau jika Anda sudah memiliki partisi di tempat maka Anda akan membersihkan yang pertama. Dengan mengetik 'windows del' itu harus menyimpan semua program tambahan Anda. Ingatlah untuk kembali menginstal apapun Anda memerlukan driver. Misalnya Sound Card-Kartu Grafis CD / ROM driver R Hope dll yang membantu.

Menghapus Windows XP file
File-file berikut adalah file tersembunyi. File-file tersembunyi terletak di dalam folder akar dari drive yang digunakan untuk memulai komputer. Biasanya, ini adalah drive C (huruf drive pertama yang tersedia untuk hard disk).

Untuk menghapus file-file Windows XP, ikuti langkah berikut:

1. Jalankan Windows Explorer.
2. Klik menu View, dan kemudian klik Folder Options.
3. Klik tab Lihat, klik Tampilkan semua file, kemudian klik OK.
4. Dalam folder akar dari drive C (atau drive boot), hapus file-file berikut:
* Boot.ini
* Ntbootdd.sys
* Ntdetect.com
* NTLDR
5. Pada drive di mana Windows XP diinstal, hapus file-file berikut jika ada:
* Hiberfil.sys
* Pagefile.sys

Catatan Anda harus menghapus file Pagefile.sys dalam Safe Mode dengan Command Prompt.
6. Hapus folder berikut jika ada:
* Windows
* Program Files
* Documents and Settings

Nurut ane seh, cara yg katanya dari pacarnya Bojong dg unchek box list of O.S itu bukan ngapus win,tape supaya pilihan Xo1 n Xp3 ga keliatan lage.

Kalau hapus sistem O.S di Root C, sebaeknya pikir dahulu ati2, soalnya itu bisa buat semua Win jade ga jalan.

klo buat sistem ROOT C, itu namanya resiko.. kalo brhasil jalan.. klo ga ya uda.. pengalaman kan yg penting... :D

ini tuh Xp 1 inside Xp3 atau, Xp3 inside Xp1 /?

kalo Xp1 inside Xp3 mending format aje bang, install ulang Xp3 nya, soal nya susah, pondasi nya kan Xp1 , dari pada ga jalan ntar windowsnya ;;)
 
bukan an... dy ada 2 OS.. kaya gw waktu dl.. ada win 98 sama xp sp3...

dy kayanya mau apus satunya.. tp mnurut gw si mending format ulang.. tp gamau dianya.. y uda... pake opsi ga dtampilin ato hapus sistem root
