damn I joined this forum to improve my Indonesian for school but it turns out I can't understand a lot of the posts. I think it's a bit too colloquial. A few people recommended me to get a penfriend but I don't really want the commitment (yeah I know I'm not very nice).... would a few people be able to read my essays and tell me if they're okay ? =D

Well, since the subject is "I" then consider to write "have been" instead of "has been" /no1 there are many differences between "have" and "have been". I think it's better to look up at your English grammar book to obtain a comprehensive explanation among them.

Has been is used for He, She, It..

both of em is used as a passive voice..
such as..
"i have been to puncak" instead of "i have to puncak"
