A visual novel (ビジュアルノベル, bijuaru noberu?) is an interactive fiction game featuring mostly static graphics, usually with anime-style art. As the name might suggest, they resemble mixed-media novels or tableau vivant stage plays.

Ai Yori Aoshi
sinopsis :
Ai Yori Aoshi is a romantic comedy series about a young man named Kaoru, heir to the Hanabishi corporation. As the company inheritor, he has been betrothed to the daughter of the wealthy Sakuraba family since childhood. Hence, this marriage arrangement is also a business deal. Aoi, the aforementioned daughter, has been groomed to be Kaoru's wife, so whilst being wealthy, she is also well versed in housekeeping and related tasks. However, as Kaoru matures, he becomes fed up with the whole corporate lifestyle that's been mapped out for him and secedes from his family. He enrolls at Meiritsu University and lives the penniless, typical student life in a shabby apartment. Life is pretty normal until a kimono-clad woman re-enters his life. This woman is Aoi, his childhood friend and betrothed. Their relationship starts off rocky, but Aoi proves that she genuinely loves Kaoru, and has since they were children. She wants to eke out an honest existence with him, wherever he may be. Sweetly enough, Kaoru loves her too. Awwwww. But since this is a "harem hijinks" series, there are also plenty of other requisite females who too are vying for Kaoru's affections and want nothing more than to steal him away from Aoi. The game takes place a good ways into the Ai Yori Aoshi storyline where all the characters are already well established, including Mayu Miyuki and Tina Foster who are among the more aggressive females Kaoru encounters. Kaoru however, is very serious about his relationship with Aoi and has eyes only for her, much to the other girls' chagrin.

Da Capo centers around the period before Jun'ichi Asakura graduates from the affiliated section and enters the high school section of Kazami Academy (風見学園, Kazami Gakuen?) where Sakura Yoshino returns to the island after moving to America several years before. Most of the main stories revolve around the magical unwilting sakura tree and its powers.

The protagonists of Kirakira, Shikanosuke, Kirari, Sarina and Chie are the members of the second literary club (第二文芸部, daini bungeibu?) at the Christian school Ohbi Gakuen. The club was set to be closed in next March so they try to set up a band they call the Second Literary Club Band (第二文芸部バンド, Daini Bungeibu Bando?, shortened to d2b) to save the club. Their performance at the subseqent school festival succeeds with flying colors. That performance was put on the Internet where one of the live houses in Nagoya offered the band to put on a performance in Nagoya. They honestly want to disband after the performance at the school festival because they had to study for entrance exams or look for jobs, but they were convinced to go on a live tour by Yagihara, the vocalist of Star Generation. Shikanosuke's band d2b begins its live tour across Japan in an old van.

Description :
Tsukihime's follows the perspective of Shiki Tohno who suffered a life-threatening injury when he was young. When he regained consciousness, Shiki was able to see "death lines"[n 1] though his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception (直死の魔眼, Chokushi no Magan?) which causes him immense headaches as his mind cannot cope with the sight of death. Soon after he is given a pair of glasses that blocks the sight of these lines. The game then advances to Shiki's second year of high school. After his injury, he was banished to a branch family of the Tohno household. After eight years he is called back home by his younger sister, Akiha Tohno, when she assumed the responsibility as the family's head. After moving back Shiki has trouble adjusting to the old-fashion lifestyle his sister lives by.
As the story progresses the plot diverges depending upon the choices the character makes. Shiki must use his powers to confront supernatural beings such as vampires (known as True Ancestors (真祖, Shinso?) and Dead Apostles (死徒, Shito?)).
