__________

I have slang languages to use while text messaging on cellphone:

Single letters can replace words. Examples:
  • be becomes b
  • see becomes c
  • are becomes r
  • you becomes u
  • why becomes y
  • and becomes n
  • to becomes t

Single digits can replace words. Examples:
  • ate becomes 8
  • for becomes 4
  • to or too becomes 2

A single letter or digit can replace a syllable. Examples:
  • ate becomes 8, so:
    • activate becomes activ8
    • great becomes gr8
    • mate becomes m8
    • later becomes l8r or l8a
    • plates becomes pl8s
    • skater becomes sk8r or sk8a
  • for or Fore becomes 4, so:
    • before becomes (combining both of the above) b4
    • therefore becomes der4
    • therefore becomes th4

There are miscellaneous adaptations of characters. Examples:

However, these are fairly uncommon for the pure reason that they take even longer to type than the originals for the average typist.
  • ss becomes $
  • oo becomes %
  • orr becomes or only write one letter in a sequence
    • For example, Sorry becomes Sry, and Tomorrow becomes Tomorow (further abbreviated to 2moro and later to 2mro).

Characters and punctuation are removed to shorten messages:
  • Vowels are removed such that the sequence of consonants remain and the word is still recognisable.
    • For example, between becomes btwn and yearbook becomes yrbk.
  • Whole words may be omitted, especially articles.
  • Punctuation may be removed; only question mark and exclamation marks are generally used. The space and capital letter is often omitted after a period.

“/” signifies abbreviation, such as “w/” for with and “s/t” for something.

Other transcriptions of slang or dialect terms can be used if shorter than the original words, as in cos (with fewer letters than because.)

Slanguange? Recently I use "dummy-tummy" for those dullards.

slang words = words that come out without thinking

e.g. aaaa , no , stop it!, eh, ah

Hmm...
gimme --> give me
the "J" --> Jumpshoot (needs clarification).

wanna add here few slank words in english, if i made a false..please correct it..
and please add it as you know

wanna = want to
whaddup = what up = ada apa
what's on earth.. = ada apa gerangan (penekanan pertanyaan yang menunjukkan keingintahuan yang besar)
hesh-sesh = bermain skate sebentar (just playing around a little time)
ya = you
mamaw & papaw = mother & father
black & blue = babak belur
yeah right? = ah, masa sih?

updates will come soon..
NB: these slang phrases are commonly used by americans.
mamaw and papaw is just what Afro-Americans says. Or should I say, their dialect.

"What's on earth", I never heard of it. Just follow the pattern though: "What the ... is going on ...?". exempli gratia: "what the heck is going on here?" and some like "what the **** is going on inside?" Sorry for the bad language.

nay (written as nae) what I remember is an Old English word for no, actually.

Hmm...
gimme --> give me
the "J" --> Jumpshoot (needs clarification).

What's a jumpshot anyway?

some times i use "Pak Yu" for F#ck You hehehe...

BTW = by the way
BRB = Be Right Back
AFK = Away From Keyboard

gimme = give me
Broo = Brother
Sista = sister

:) :) :)

Again, words like sista, gangsta, are used by Afro-Americans by pronunciation. But they write them as sister and gangster too. Different case for 'momma'.

@Calvin:
Well, jumpshoot is a term of basketball, do you know that?^^
